Tcheka (aka Manuel Lopes Andrade) from Cape Verde made his name on fellow Cape Verdean singer Lura's debut album, writing the opening and closing tracks. On Nu Monda, his second album, he shows off his talented vocal and song-writing ability as he returns to 'batuque', one of the popular beats on Cape Verde's biggest island, Santiago.
