From High Life to Hip Life is a musical history of the development of highlife through to Hip Life the country’s popular music of the last decade. The compilation includes guitar band styles, funky highlife gospel and cultural forms of music. It features Osibisa the first African band to have hits in the UK, and King Ayisoba and many more. Have a listen to King Ayisoba ’s 'I Want To See You My Father'. ( to be released in summer 2007 )
