Hamza El Din-Escalay (The Water Wheel)/ Oud music

For a serious taste of the oud, North African lute, check out Sudan’s Hamza El Din. Born in Nubia, Hanza El Din grew up with the sensuous, rhythmic music of the people of the Upper Nile. He brings together great mastery of the oud with new musical patterns growing out of the vocal music and drumming of traditional Nubia.
