A unique project to bring together some the roadside talent in Zambia, this compilation is a humble appreciation of the endless musicianship that exists in Africa. It features great songs from Zambia’s Southern Province, home of the Tonga people. There are unique guitar styles (often with self-made guitars) and catchy tunes and rhythms. The harmonies produced by a 40-strong female choir in ‘Shungu Namutitima’ (‘The Water that Thunders’) say it all!
