Rocky Dawuni - Books Of Changes

(Aquarian Records)

Rocky Dawuni Books Of Changes

'Book of Changes' is the fourth album of Ghanaian born and bred and now Californina-based Roots Reggae artist Rocky Dawuni. Touted as "Ghana's Bob Marley", Rocky mixes West Indian and West African influences beautifully. Dawuni's arrangements are harmonious and the vibe throughout the album is fresh, organic and rootsy, with inspiring, spiritual, conscious and positive lyrics (almost all in English).

Stand-out tracks are 'Wake The Town', 'Save Us All', 'Africa For Learn', 'The One' ... I could list them all. This is Afro Roots Reggae, blending elements of Roots Reggae, Afro Beat, Dub and traditional African music, and creating an addictive and powerful album.

No UK release date is set yet for this amazing collection of songs, but you can obtain a copy from his website .
