This is Pastor Daniel Habtey's third CD release and it's a new style of gospel, but not gospel in the Afro-American Pentecostal tradition. 'The Secret of the Victory' is delightful mix of rootsy, Arabic tinged, afro-pop. The result is an easy listening, joyful, upbeat collection of songs, sung in Amharic and English.
